I have the female long hair black and tan born 8/18/08. Her name is Samantha is she is my pride and joy. My husband and I love her to death, she is our little beautiful girl. She loves to play fetch and run in the back yard. My husband, our cat Isabella and I are defininately Samantha's pack. She keeps track of us and is always close by either on our laps, next to us on the couch or in the case of the cat cleaning her ears. Getting Samantha was the best decision we've ever made!!

my mom got the only boy in the litter on 8/18/08 his name is now sir capuccino bean he is a very loveable puppy he loves to lick peoples faces.he is a good puppy he is very energetic and playful he loves snow and when we go for walks he likes to chase and chomp on leaves.he is begging to get along with the ka ka kitty his favorite playmate is the younger cat named mogwai and he also gets along with the older dog april.

I have three little dachshunds now, one of each -- a long hair, a wire hair and a short hair. My long hair is the grand dame, 14 years old, and rules the roost. They are so cute and joyful, they definitely make me happy. The wire hair and short hair are young and playful, and run all over the house chasing eachother. My lap is always full. I think doxies have all the fun of a big dog packed into a much more convenient -- and cute -- package.

i want a small dog 4 lyf i love dachshaunds and i had one but he got ran over by a car i loved him to death and he was the sweetest dog u would have ever met soo good luck to all u lil dachshaunds!!!

I am the owner of Fiona, a five year old mini. she is a wonderful dog, a bit overweight..but has always loved to eat. I also was never a small dog fan until she arrived. She is lovable, funny and quite the watchdog! She also, was a bit difficult to train. We are way past that now and she is just a delight. The puppies I saw here were so adorable! I wish I could get them all.....

my daughter just acquired a little female dachshunds last xmas. i have never been a little dog person, being the owner of a golden whom i absolutely love. but after having nicki(who was very hard to train, which has alot to do with her not liking the cold)i am in love. i'm torn between getting a dachshund or another golden. but after looking at the pictures on this site and reading all the positive messages i definately will be giving the kemps a phone call. thanks for the great website
